I’ve got quite a bit of Packout. I really like having the drawer units on wheels to move around my shop. For years I thought about how I could make something that would let me put a packout crate in-between two drawer modules. I always had units on top of a stack, but I kept thinking I could figure out a way to put them in the middle by raising up one unit. This is what I came up with. It’s a set of brackets that clamp onto the rails of the packout and then use a piece of 1/2” x 1/2” square tubing to provide the support. It actually came out better than I expected! You will need to print 8 full sets of parts and you'll need 32, 4mmx16mm bolts and 32 nuts. You wall also need 4 pieces of 71 cm steel tube ½" x ½" I included a couple of little spacers… because if you want just a little more space in the opening, you can lift up the upper unit and put the spacers in without having to cut another piece of steel.
