Vase system for a Papyrus cutting.
I used an IKEA Carafe as a vase. I print PLA.
I wanted to keep some of the roots lenth in clear water for graphic purpose. So I designed this hollow cylinder shape, to give the essential soil to the plant, but retaining it from making muddy water. This design gives the plant all the watering it needs, recreating the Nil fertility conditions, like in Egypt.
EDIT -
With the papyrus it worked so well that I had to plant it in a bigger pot soon after !
I'd like to see if another type of plant would grow that fast.
