For those who want to make a lid for their 3d printed rectangular boxes. I mainly use it for board game inserts so I can store my games vertically.
I recommend openScad to view and edit the file to your needed box sizes. (link:https://openscad.org/).
To use:
-Find the x and y measurements of your box, in mm. I usually find this by opening the box's file in my slicer and finding the precise size there.
-Then in openScad, in the _define box size section, replace _w and _d variables with the x and y measurements (doesn't matter which). See highlighted portion in picture.
-Then render, export, and print!
Please let me know if there's any issues. It works perfectly for me, though may require sanding down rough edges afterwards. Credit to mbeyerle116 for the original file that I reworked to generate a lid instead of a card box.
