PhotonMono Replaceable Vat Frame

This is a replacement vat frame designed for the Anycubic Photon Mono 2K resin printer. It provides a 3D-printable alternative for situations where attempts to replace the FEP film on the original frame may result in damage. Since replacement frames for this model are not readily available, this custom design offers a practical solution.

When installing the new frame (with the FEP film attached) onto the VAT assembly, note that it applies slightly more pressure than the original. While the model has been successfully tested across five usage cycles, this increased tension could potentially lead to quicker wear or failure. Therefore, exercise caution during installation and use.

This replacement vat frame requires the installation of threaded inserts into the smaller holes located on the bottom side and the appropriate screws. These inserts ensure secure fastening of the FEP film. Proper installation of these components is essential for reliable performance and tensioning.
