Pointer Puller

A very simple design concept of a »pointer puller« for all types of pointers with a pointer bushing bore, which goes completly through the bushing respective pointer hub. For example watches, wall clocks, stand clocks, pressure gauges and other analogue measuring devices or analogue indicating instruments. I've made this piece during my education as a mechanican in "Measurement and Control Technology", in the year 1968 at "Farbwerke HOECHST AG". I used it very often for pressure gauges pointers to pull out of their pointer shafts, for new calibrations of the measuring devices. The sheet metal plate is designed for an easy exchanging and adaption to different pointer dimensions. Different sizes of the sheet metal plate are therefore possible. The cylindrical pin is exchangeable fastened with a threaded pin, into the threaded bushing, for using different pin diameters. Two Pads - made of plastic - to protect the dials, are pressed into the threaded pins in the yoke. The two threaded pins are needed, for holding the sheet metal plate in position.
