The propeller of my pool cleaning robot was broken. So I decided to make a new one. I fully designed it with OpenScad, from measurements of the old original one. OpenScad is an excellent choice for this type of object. I think this is much more adapted than Fusion 360 for example. With my lattest version of the OpenScad file everything is parametrized, including the number of blades of the propeller. Normally there are 3. It was then sliced and printed with Prusa Slicer and my lovelly Prusa MK3S.
No need of supports for printing.
Cost: 0.25 €, compared to 25 € + port on the internet!
For more robustness I printed it in PETG Carbon (so * price by 5), but classical PETG should suffice. I used 100% filling, classical 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.2 mm resolution. I tried with smaller resolution, such as 0.1 mm, but this is not better, and even worse with more defaults.
