PrintoScope: A Tool for Precise Tuning and Analysis of 3D Printing PrintoScope is designed not only to monitor the first layer but also to observe subsequent layers from above or through the printer's door. This device was created for profile tuning and print analysis, which is especially important when working with new materials from different manufacturers. The tuning process requires testing, and automation is often not enough—high-quality visual inspection is essential. For example, automation may not detect insufficient filament flow or adhesion issues in the first layer, which are easily noticeable during visual analysis. PrintoScope provides this functionality, offering magnification comparable to an electronic loupe. The device is particularly convenient for printers with a glass top panel, such as the Bambu Lab X1C.
