Free Vehicles & Machinery STL Download - Projectile Trainby Cyrus Harding

This is a model based on an idea and illustration from Jules Verne's book, "From the Earth to the Moon." Verne fans will recognize the Projectile Train from the cover of some publications. Although Verne did not provide a lot of detail besides the presenting the illustration and a mention in the book, I did my best to design it as accurately as possible to his idea. I used PLA to print the compartments and then used wooden dowels and epoxy to link the sections together. To be more accurate, you could use gray string instead of dowels because the sections seem to be linked with steel cable. I glued the dowels in and then painted them to appear as cables while providing rigidity. Let me know if you have any problems with the printing or assembly and I will happily help as best I can.
