Prototype Desk Planter

The design goal of this desk plante is to hold your plants with three levels and hide a raspberry pi inside. The design has 4 locations for plants with one being either a plant space or a hook to hang things off of. There is a hidden compartment with a removable lid to hold the raspberry pi and other items.

This projected used a CNC router to cut out the top and bottom frame. The top and bottom frame is then connected with nails then surrounded in a wireframe for plaster. The plaster (white in the pictures) we used was easy to use quick dry plaster that came as sheets and only needed water then time to dry.

We decided that the selling point of this prototype was that it can be made as a DIY kit as it was enjoyable to create especially with the plaster. Peices can then be customized such as design to color for customers to build.
