I developed this snap-on interface for another project to make a racing/steering wheel. Existing models were loose and imprecise, so I created this to provide a tight, solid, and accurate attachment for the PS5 controller.
This snaps on from the rear/bottom and has a protruding ridge on the front/top side that is designed to fit in the gap between the touch controller and the controller body. The protruding ridge prevents the touch controller from being pushed down accidentally, and it also stabilizes the frame to prevent movement. The rear side of the top section is flared to nestle in between the RH and LH joystick humps, further improving steadiness. There are 3 holes/perforations: one in the front/top for the USB-C jack, one on the top for the PS button, and one on the back/bottom for the headset plug.
For best printing, print the frame on one of the flat sides. No supports are needed, but be aware that without the supports, the holes/perforations might have some minor blobbi
