Quick-Deploy Projector MountThis is a quick-deploy projector mount that works perfectly in an IKEA Kallax shelf or similar. A standard 608zz bearing in the center of the fixplate leads to smooth operation while the spring-loaded stopblock allows the arm to lock in at the top end of the rotation. The two guide-pins prevent over-rotation at both ends. This mechanism has been tested to around 5kg (11 lbs) of holding capacity without breaking (though the test was only for a short time). At the end of the arm a hole is placed for a standard ¼"-20 camera screw to fix the projector to the arm. It is modelled for a 110x110mm projector like the Philips PicoPix I am using, where the screw-hole is centered. The hole is just over 6mm in diameter so that the screw is captive once it has been screwed in once. Therefore be careful on this first screwing to not crack the material.
