This is made to to mount on the end of the 18 inch (45 cm) [Nite Ize Gear Tie](https://www.amazon.com/Nite-Ize-Original-Reusable-18-Inch/dp/B004MMEHOC/) brand heavy duty twist ties. You need to cut off the large nub on the end of the gear tie.

The mount is designed so that the [Adafruit Raspberry Pi camera mount](https://www.adafruit.com/product/3253) slips in and locks into place. It is made to hold the back bracket, **without** the clear cover. I did this because in my experience, the cover interferes with the camera's focus and results in a blurry picture, so I just left it off.

It also includes a file to print a screw-down base for the other end of gear tie.
