Reader Device Challenge

I designed the interface to look familiar and be self-explanatory. The symbols are big and high contrast to enable it to be seen in low light or people with poor vision. The layout makes it equally easy to be used by both right and left handed users. The recharging station doubles as the wall mount. The mobile device can be locked to the recharging station to prevent tampering. The mobile device has a loop to fix a string onto for ease of carrying in the field. No tools are required to swap the battery. All plastic components are designed to have a single split line and for effortless assembly. Please see uploaded video. Simple, functional and secure.
