Receipt Box

RECEIPT BOXBACKGROUNDWith the increase of EFTPOS machines being used after COVID. The vendors receipts became a problem for community groups doing fun raising activities. The traditional spike on a stand is a problem for young helpers, so an alternative is needed. SOLUTIONA box with a lid that could hold the receipts from the EFTPOS machine, as the little receipts don’t easily just stay in a box or go into a box. A method to easily put them in with the box retaining the receipts had to be design. Also keep in mind this would need to be used by people of all ages so it needed to be easy to use. The solution that we have settled on and tested is a box with the lid is slotted and a plunger to push the receipt into the box. A bit of experimentation with size and length of plunger was conducted to determine the ratio of box depth to plunger length.
