This thing will actually play a record, not very well but it will play.
The platter turns on two 1/4 inch flange bearings inserted in each end of the platter hub. A 1/4 inch rod goes through the bearings and into the base. The rod is a little small for the hole in a record but it doesn't matter much.
The motor mount pivots on a 1/8 dia pin. The motor clamps in the mount with a screw and nut. The motor I used is about 24mm diameter with a 2mm shaft. A large o-ring goes in the groove in the platter hub. The motor shaft is held against the o-ring with a rubber band from the motor mount and the projection from the end of the base. I included another motor mount that i tried but that motor didn't work as well as the first one.
The tone arm pivots up and down on the tone arm swivel. I used a piece of a coat hanger for the pin. The tone arm swivels on the tone arm base. It also uses a piece of coat hanger for a pin. Three #4 sheet metal screws attach the tone arm assembly to the
