remote holder   update · added STLs   with different sized inserts for fit and color   photos show printed in matte black pla and matte beige pla 0.20mm layer height 15% adaptive cubic no brims or supports   note > this model comes in two plates, you have one for the holder itself, and another for the inserts note2 > there is another 3mf file with 37x53mm insert   the inserts serve three purposes: they allow for a better fit for different size remotes. they come with inner dimensions of 24x47mm, 34x46mm, and 28x55mm, and you can decide which sizes or mix of sizes work best for your own remotes they allow for an easier and faster multi-color final object, as you have all three inserts as separate objects as well as the holder frame last but not least, it deals with the the look left by the overhangs present in the print, which does not have structural impact, but an aesthetic one the inserts only fit in one way and are a snug fit, just orient them correctly easing them into place and then make sure you fully press them in. it may result in some filament strands (from the overhangs) to come out on the other side, and you can just clip those out.   if you enjoy this 3D model and are able to, please consider supporting my work by > buying me a coffee < your contribution goes a long way in fuelling future creations. thank you for being a supporter!   note: all photos uploaded are of the actual printed model, taken inside a lightbox or in natural light on top of a desk / table
