This robotic arm was a small project for learning how to model in CAD and how to work with electronics. I use servos to move the arm and it was programmed on an Arduino Uno R3. To control it, I use sticks, but you could also use an ESP32 and a PS4 controller to steer it.
One downside to the arm is that the arm cannot hold a lot of weight. An improvement would be to rework the pick mechanism and fix the arm to a surface or make the stand bigger.
To build the arm, you need a bit of hot glue ;).
