This is a 3D scanning frame that I designed a while back to help make scanning parts easier. The original print profile uses PETG-HF, and I advise against PLA as then creep will be a problem. The posts have internal components to help with assembly and to prevent wear, so there are four pauses per post in the print for M4-M6 x 6mm threaded inserts and 3x5x4mm bushings:First - Threaded insertSecond - BushingThird - BushingFourth - Threaded insertThe bushing in the posts are for extending the posts by using 3mm x 40mm dowel pins, which can be clamped together with M4 set screws in the side of the posts. I have only designed adapters for 1/8" NPT (to screw the articulating arm on), and did not design them for NPT threaded inserts. If you decide to buy articulating arms, they very well could be BSPT, which wont work. If people would like, I can design different adapters for BSPT and NPT.
