Sensor Holder

Is a sensor and valve holder, developed for the Hospital of Aveiro during the inicial COVID19 pandemic times to help with the lack of material in the new COVID19 units. The design was developed by me, printed at the University of Aveiro Physics Department Maker room and the bolts and nuts were supplyed by Aveiautomação Máquinas e Componentes Lda. The files are available here for download and copy without charge from any of the involved institutions, companies nor myself. It was projected to allow for fixation on tubes from 10mm to 40mm diameter in order to improve flexibility on the new installations layout. 8 of this holders were made from PET and PP plastic, compliant with hospital environment requirements and are currently applied on the Aveiro Hospital since May 2020. The video captures a prototype to be presented to the hospital staff for approval, which was further refined to give place to the current drawings, which were implemented.
