Side frame

The side frame is the main part of the chassis of any freight car. In most cases, it has a complex structure and is made by casting of low-alloy steel of different brands. The frame consists of horizontal, inclined belts and columns. In the middle of the frame there is an opening for the Central spring suspension, and at the ends — the axle openings.
