Soft Corner Guard This is a soft TPU-printed corner protector designed to reduce painful injuries when someone accidentally hits or catches a foot on the corner of a cabinet. The idea behind this part is simple: for people with disabilities or reduced mobility, quickly moving past a cabinet can sometimes lead to painful impacts or trapped feet at sharp furniture corners. This soft guard helps make that area much safer. To recreate the model, you need to measure: the width of the cabinet panel the available inner depth I started with a rough sketch and added the footprint of the protective structure. I made the protector 5 mm wider than the measured basic outline. From the full footprint, I created a 1.5 mm high base plate. The cabinet stands on this base plate, which helps keep the protector securely in place. Then I added the outer frame up to the available height (75 mm in my case) and rounded the corners for a softer, safer shape. The part can be printed in TPU 95A. With 15% infill, it stays soft while still being stable enough to absorb stronger bumps and impacts. You can already see in the photos that it has taken a few hits — and that is exactly what it is made for. Weicher Eckenschutz Dies ist ein weicher, aus TPU gedruckter Eckschutz, der dazu dient, schmerzhafte Verletzungen zu vermeiden, wenn jemand mit dem Fuß an einer Schrankkante hängenbleibt oder dagegen stößt. Die Idee dahinter ist einfach: Gerade für Menschen mit Behinderung oder eingeschränkter Mobilität kann es im Alltag schnell passieren, dass beim Vorbeigehen an einem Schrank der Fuß an einer Ecke einfädelt oder hart anschlägt. Dieser weiche Schutz macht die Stelle deutlich sicherer. Um das Modell nachzubauen, müssen folgende Maße genommen werden: die Breite des Schrankbretts die mögliche Innentiefe Ich habe daraus zunächst ein grobes Modell skizziert und den Grundriss der Schutzkonstruktion ergänzt.
