Solar Flat Cap Imaging Diffuser for Solar Scout

The Solar Flat Cap is a diffuser that is temporarily installed over the front of your DayStar Solar Scout telescope when taking flat field reference images. By strongly blurring the Sun, the only details you will see in the reference image are from defects in your imaging train that are then removed in software such as FireCapture. This design is meant to replace the use of cereal bags or parchment paper, etc., when creating your flats.
