An outdoor rated case whit solar panel to house your lora/meshtastic/meshcore/whatever node

Uses a 88x142mm solar panel (1.25W)
Has space for a 4x18650 battery holder, a solar charge controller, a bms and your rak/heltec board

151mm x 98mm x 51mm

Print 4 spacers and glue them in the corners between Case and SPMount, whit the hole toward the center (aligned whit the hole for the PV cable).

The angled bracket keeps the panel Tilt at 67.5° if you fix it to a vertical pole. I did it this way so it wouldn't get much snow during winter and air can easily move due to convection during summer

From my tests, a RAK19003 and 9.5Ah of battery, whit 5 Hours of sun (6 to 11, august, northern Italy) can work in net zero (daily mean battery voltage remains the same).
Same position and sun, but whit an Heltec v3, and only 5Ah of battery, lasted almost a month before shutting down.
As where I am the shortest day lasts 8h 52m I am confident this can go on whitout maintenance even trough winter sto
