My idea is to make harvesting plastic easier. To get decent materials you need to identify & separate them and the earlier you can do this, the easier everything becomes downstream. With this you can separate the litter as you pick it up. Using the tongs, you can minimise the later stage of sorting which can be messy and unsanitary. So hopefully it would make the whole process a bit more pleasant. Each holder uses a simple carrier bag. You can clip the holders on and off the handle. Wall brackets could be used to keep them organised back at the plastic bank centre. Simple steel rod could be bent to shape for the tongs, and locally sourced tube could be used for the holder handles. Each part weighs 52g in PET.
