Spragg

This is a spragg created to act as a smooth ratcheting component for the solenoid winder. It also acts as a tensioner for the wire when wrapping the wire around the solenoid housing and keeps the core from unraveling. There are three holes that were threaded and screws were used to squeeze the spragg which caused the tension and thus also adjustable. The ball bearing can be any material or 3d printed.
