Spudnik model rocket

Simple 4-piece model rocket for use with Estes A,B,C or other 18mm solid model rocket engines. No glue required to assemble. Body, tail and shield snap fit together or can be glued if desired. Integrated blast chamber for parachute so no wadding is needed. Integrated launch lugs. Does require some 2mm elastic cord for chute and nose cone tether.
Engine is a friction fit and may need adjustment depending on printer. Fit of nosecone will depend of print and may need to be sanded for light friction fit.

Print body, tail and shield upside down with no support, print nose pointing up with 10-20% infill for correct CG.

Use a 15" - 18" parachute or similar. You can find some good sewn ripstop nylon chutes on Amazon for $15 or less.
