This is for up-cycling leftover plastic microwavable food containers into a stackable drawer system.
It is a big, challenging print, filling up nearly the entire build volume of our 300x200x200 mm ExtraBot 3020 E3D printer. (http://extrabot.net/index.php/product/14-extrabot-3020a-e3d)
It works very well and we've included the SketchUp 16 file for anyone who would like to modify it. The bottom braces are a bit fragile so they might be updated in future version. A Customizer version would also be nice.
This project shows you how to use 3D printing together with reusing existing material and opens up a lot of new possibilities.
If you print one out, please share some photos. We love to see people make our designs.
