Stackable Hexes

After switching from Dungeons & Dragons to playing Lancer on a hex grid, I decided to design a system of modular tiles for my local group. These stackable hexes are designed as standard 1" hex sizes and come in varying sizes. The geometry for nesting pieces and the marking rings vary from the Open WarHex design, but I'm sure they could be adapted to fit with some scaling and modification. However, I have not tested their compatibility directly.

Another one of the ways these varies is in the size itself. This design does not allow for additional terrain "flavor", such as physical trees or rocks, to be placed on a map simultaneously with playing pieces.
