A stackable rack for storing round or hexagonal containers. It can be adjusted to hold containers of any size. We use it for sample vials (dimensions for 1.5 mL and 4 mL are stated in the scad-file).

This design requires much less filament and printing time than its predecessor, Stackable Rack (solid version).

Rendering in OpenSCAD takes some time at the preset resolution (0.05). Also, the stl-files usually need to be fixed with Netfabb before printing to get rid of inverted faces. I wish I knew how to fix that.

There is also an optional lid, which is basically the bottom layers of the rack.

The look can be changed by adjusting the parameters "hexagon height higher fraction" and "hexagon height lower fraction". Some of them look quite 60's/70's sci-fi.
