This is a prototyp of a rc plane I designed.
It`s a glider no propulsion or controls attached.
The task was to create a plane as light as possible while still resistant to mechanical stress.
The structure has no infill only a lot of thin walls and ribs to make it stiff.
You have to scale it to 50 % to make it printable on most printers.
The finished plan is 1000mm wide and something close to 500g heavy.
After printing the parts can be glued together.
You have to add weight in order to balance it for good flight behavior.
