Switch Guard

The 3D-printed Switch Guard is a simple and effective solution designed to prevent accidental or unauthorized switching OFF of electrical switches in controlled environments. It consists of two parts—a Base and a Lid—connected using a short filament hinge pin, allowing smooth opening and closing. Once closed, the lid can be secured using a thin locking wire, ensuring the switch remains protected unless intentionally accessed. The guard is easy to assemble, uses minimal additional materials, and can be mounted using screws or strong double-sided tape. It is ideal for use in laboratories, classrooms, server rooms, offices, and other public or restricted areas where reliable switch control is required.
