I wanted a more sturdy printer because the acrylic frame of the anet a8 is not that stable, but i did not wanted to buy the alu profile since price is too high for my taste. I modified all the am8 parts in order to be able to mount all the support on smooth 2040 metal profile. Since making a hole in a precise place once the printer is welded is not that easdy because is hard to put in position,, i modified the parts in order to be slightly adjustable (+/- 1Cm of adjustement) so that you can precisely tune the position of rods for Y axis. All the other parts, if printer is properluy welded will fit precisely in position.

The Z upper support are made in order to satisfy wo like free rolling rod, and who like bearings on top. It already have space for 608zz bearings.

All the parts are modified from the original AM8 project. I've tried to go as similar as possible to the original prusa mk2 and i think i nailed it. I use Marlin 1.1.8, stock extruder and Slic3r prusa edition with prus
