The PVCore 3D Printer

I custom designed this printer using 0.5" PVC pipe as the frame to see if it could be done reliably. The printer works as expected and actually print well. Areas for improvement are the print bed leveling and Z axis movement.


A good quality 3D printer is needed to print out all the parts so do not proceed unless you have one and are ready to commit lots of time to the project as it requires many 3D printed parts.

The PDF goes over the required parts, etc. I have attached the configuration.h file for Marlin and the ini file for Cura.
