This it NOT a match for the imsai 8080 paddle switch, its inspired by it!
This is a tact-type switch, that uses a buit in LED to indicate its status (on/off)
It just occured to me, that if you wanted to make a trinary or octal status switch with this... you could ... (using an RGB LED) ANYHOW
If you do something with it, I'd love to see!
I plan on making an OSI300-like toy with it, maybe using a z80...
its build for a 1/8" pin, you can gang paddles on the same 1/8" shaft
The paddle is *just* 3d printed, but I wanted a slim pcb support, so I cnc cut it from 1mm sheet aluminum, there is a 3d printed bending tool.
to use it put the sheet into the slot, caputre it thru the hole with a pin, and bend the sheet tight around the block (I used an arbour press)
