Tooling Insert

In this model, I have conceptualized the tooling insert manufactured using Hybrid Manufacturing. I have imagined insert as an assembly of 3 parts two of them can be manufactured using machining & the top portion can be 3D printed. The internal cooling channels in this insert are referred to as conformal cooling channels which as accelerates the injection molding process & help reducing wrappage.
