Toy caliper

I needed a compact measuring instrument, so I made a toy caliper. It can't do precise measurements, but it should give you a rough idea of the dimensions. It has 7 parts. Please refer to the photos for assembly instructions. It requires a little support, but it should be easy to remove. Depending on the filament you use, it might be slow to operate, but it worked smoothly in my environment. The disc's markings are 10mm for every quarter of a turn. It might even be able to read 0.5mm. Of course, that's probably just my imagination.
