An experimental handle-less umbrella frame.
Uses 3mm pultruded fiberglass rod epoxied into pivots, and 24 2.9x13mm self-tappers.
I cut the short rods to 133.5mm, other lengths will give you other angles. With the right setup and that rod length, the thing will be stable in the extended position without needing a latch - the rods go overcenter.
Photos are with 750mm arms, but you can use any length that suits your application.
Print two hub tops, two hub bottoms, 18 pivots, 6 of each hinge side, and 2 buttons..
