This an object made of 6 individual dovetailed pieces that fit inside the midwall of the Vanagon cavity behind the driver. Its purpose is to support the ABS or other hard panel upgrades to prevent the panel from flexing, and to help support any loose insulation like wool.

The object is cut at unequal lengths and the dovetails are at different heights so that the parts cannot be interchanged, they only assemble one way. The inside groove is angled to match the curvature of the van body as much as possible, and there is some flex from the dovetail clearance. End result puts the outer face of this object almost plane to the panel tabs where the new type ABS panels sit.

Highly recommended to print as a solid, makes it easier to adjust hole position during install. Holes are pre-drilled, they line-up with the slots in the Vanagon outer body, but some finagling may still be needed.
