Silk Vase – Tested, Strong, and BeautifulI recommend using silk filament for this print — mine was done with Sunlu Silk White. The layer seams are hidden so well that I skipped vase mode entirely. Instead, I used two walls and a 0.6 mm line width to give it extra strength and a smoother texture. The bottom was adjusted with a modifier to lower the center of gravity, keeping it stable even with heavier contents.I’ve tested it for four days, and it’s completely watertight, though I don’t recommend leaving water inside for long periods. FDM prints can have tiny gaps by nature. If you want to make it more durable, you can pour a bit of resin inside and rotate it evenly — that helps seal any micro-gaps, adds weight, and improves the overall quality.
