Quiet Fan self supporting ventilator array for computer, server rack, RV-Skylight, window or any other application that needs a lot of air movement, without the noise of a single big fan.

I needed a 12 Volt fan for the Skylight of my camper to circulate air at night, but all standard RV solutions used a lot of power and made a lot of noise. I had some Quiet fans laying around from another project and they where very cheap (< $3 each, when bought in bulk, like 50 or 100 Pc).

The fans I used, although labeled to use 0.12 Amps, actually only use .04 Amps at 12 Volt. In order to get 2 speeds, I did even instaled a 12 to 24 Volt step-up DC-DC converter and on 24 Volts, they use about 0.08 Amps and don't make noticeable more noise or get warm.

In My application (the RV Skylight) I had room for 4 rows of 7 fans of 80 mm that should consume about 2.24 Amps, when all switched in Parallel. Different ventilators might use more!
