VERSION ONE VARIABLE DRIVE with FLUID COUPLING

This is the second iteration of the 'Version One' variable drive. The smaller keyed shaft is connected to the input and leads to the sun gear. Instead of a one-way freewheel that bridges the integrated ring/housing and the carrier shaft, a fluid coupling instead. The fluid coupling impedes the ring/housing from counter-rotating relative to the planet carrier shaft. The larger keyed planet carrier shaft is the output. Unlike a traditional transmission, the fluid coupling is AFTER the planetary gearset.
