Void spawns are wretched, hideous and utterly crazed demons of the dredge. They are abominations that were created accidentally by exposing dredge marines to the tear at the bottom of the oceans on Krathus IV. The same tear that created the monstrosity that is Mthulus. Where Mthulus could control the demonic influence, regular dredge warriors could not and imploded or exploded into void spawns.
