Wall Cup Holder – because there's no room for a table next to my couch This started as a very specific problem: the spot next to my couch is too tight for a side table, but that's exactly where my coffee wants to live. So instead of balancing mugs on the armrest (we all know how that ends), I designed this wall-mounted holder. The opening is cut at an angle, and that's not just for looks: it adds extra strength to the collar, it prints cleanly without any supports, and it leaves room for a handle. That's why it works with pretty much anything I've thrown at it so far – regular mugs, water glasses and even insulated tumblers. The bottom has a diameter of 84mm. Mounting is done with just 2 screws (up to 4mm) and a separate (invisible when installed) wall bracket – the holder slides onto it, so you can take it off for cleaning or move it without leaving a plastic part screwed to your wall forever. And while I built it for my couch corner, there's nothing couch-specific about it: bedside, desk edge, workbench, camper van, next to the bathtub... any vertical surface works. Printed in ASA-CF without issues. If you print one, I'd love to see where it ends up – post a make! Since it’s the football World Cup right now, I also added a 3-coloured .3mf file, so that you can print it in your favourite team’s country if you like :) This uses only 2 filament changes and should also be possible to print without an ams.
