I wanted a place to easily mount fans and an Arduino for a wind simulator for my sim rig. This project uses 3x 120mm fans. I didn't like the designs that require you to buy expensive cold air intake hoses, and I didn't like the idea of running wires all over the rig for multiple fans, and having the Arduino in a seperate location.

The Arduino is mounted using standard motherboard standoffs, I left the holes a bit small so that a person can drill them larger if needed. I simply super glued the stand offs in.

The fans are mounted using standard 6-32 x 1 inch long screws. The plastic is not threaded, you can use a drill to self tap them though.

The dryer hose is 3 inches, NOT your standard 4 inch.

As for the fan types, I'm currently using standard 50 cfm pc cooling fans. I highly recommend using at least 100 cfm, if not 150. You have to be careful about using fans that are too powerful, as the Adafruit v2.3 motor shield can't supply much more than 1.3 amps. This is the
