I've been a big fan of time-lapse photography and the ZeroView rig for the official raspberry pi camera has been a treat. So much so that I have one for travelling and one in the nursery that looks out over the local park.
However, the green LED on Pi Zero W's casts light into a dark room and I have noticed on some of the time-lapse runs glare from the windows which will reflect back into the shot.
This case serves three purposes:
1) Hide the green LED (Which you could do from software, but sometimes it is nice to have a peek to see all is okay)
2) Prevent window glare on the lens (It may or may not achieve this, depends on your setup)
3) Protect the Pi Zero from electrostatic discharge and generally bad things.
Conceivably with this case you could deploy a ZeroView rig outdoors but I haven't had the nerve to try it.
The case fits snugly into the ZeroView rig with a Pi Zero W. It should work with other Pi Zero models. However it probably won't fit with any attach
