Following the very traditional design of Printrbot fan shrouds, this one supports the E3Dv6 hot end perfectly as tested. The airflow is directed BELOW the heat block, allowing proper temperature regulation.
The original shrouds meant for the Ubis would direct air at the E3Dv6 heat block and I would lose 10 degrees Celcius, and the hot end would never reach optimal operating temperature if I set the fan beyond 50%.
With this, I can set my hot end fan at 100% resulting in very clean output,
