Modulo: A Modular Mounting System With just one screw, a standard wooden stick can be transformed into a monopod. It doesn’t even have to be wood—any material works. The base allows for attachment to any rod with a diameter of <30 mm. Simply tighten the M8 screw when attached to a stick and your good to go. This model includes the head variant for a 1/4-inch screw, which can be used to mount cameras, lenses, or other items. I designed this system intentionally burly to hold a heavy telephoto lens with a camera attached to it. The Base and Head are very strong and won't break if you don't overtighten the M8 Bolt or the ¼-inch screw. I will design additional attachments that can be used to mount GoPros, for example. For the base, use a hard material like ASA or ABS; PETG or PLA also work but are slightly less stable. For the pad under the camera, TPU is recommended to prevent scratching and slipping.
