This design uses methods shown in my other filletxxxx uploads here. This one is by far the largest - it printed in 40 1/4 hours using a layer height of 0.200 mm and a print speed of 120 mm/sec. The size is probably too large for Cartesian printers (it is just under 260 mm tall), but scaling it down to an appropriate size should work OK.

To allow printing with no supports I redesigned the basic shape several times. Consequently this part's curvature near the bottom is right at the edge of what my printer can do without supports. Other printers might need to use supports, but I found them difficult to use and not all that helpful.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which 3D printer is suitable for MorphBase1?
Any FDM printer should handle MorphBase1 just fine. It's been printed on machines like Bambu Lab A1, Prusa MK4, Creality Ender 3, Anycubic Kobra. A minimum build volume of 200 mm is recommended.
Does MorphBase1 need supports when printing?
No supports needed for MorphBase1 — it's designed to print clean off the bed.
How long does it take to print MorphBase1?
According to the design notes, MorphBase1 takes approximately 4 hours to print at standard settings (0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill). Actual print time varies based on your printer speed, layer height, and infill density.
What file format is MorphBase1 available in?
MorphBase1 is available in STL format. These files can be opened and sliced using free software such as Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, or OrcaSlicer for FDM printing, or ChiTuBox and Lychee Slicer for resin printing. The download is provided through Thingiverse.
